Isager Alpaca 2 ISAGER ALPACA 2 is a two ply yarn which consists of 50% wool and 50% alpaca. This yarn’s main feature is its softness which makes it very suited for baby garments and any item where soft feel is preferred. Used individually this yarn is also beautiful for an adult cardigan, but one should take into consideration that due to its softness this yarn is best suited for models not exposed to too much wear and tear. A soft yarn will never be as hard wearing as a yarn spun from a firmer wool which may also have been spun tighter. Used individually it is perfect for a sweater which will become light, all tough the yarn is thick. ISAGER ARAN TWEED is a thick single-ply yarn with a rough structure. It is suitable for thick outdoor sweaters, but is also very suitable for home textiles such as throws and cushions, not least in combinations with Silk Mohair. ISAGER HIGHLAND is spun from Peruvian sheep wool. The yarn is characterized by its lovely colors which are a mixture of different shades dyed into the wool before it is spun. The Highland yarn is not spun as tightly as Tvinni and therefore it is a softer yarn, which can still replace Tvinni and Alpaca 2. In softness and durability this yarn lies between these two yarns. Isager Hoer Organic ISAGER HØR ORGANIC is a 100% linen yarn that is perfect for warmer weather.  A favorite yarn for summer garments in Denmark, it can be used individually with two or more strands held together, or it can be knitted with other Isager yarns. However, do not knit in the rounds as the garment will skew. When working a knitting technique with this yarn, e.g. a structure pattern or a jacquard pattern in a two or more colored pattern, it can be knitted in the round. Isager Silk Mohair ISAGER SILK MOHAIR is with its blend of 25% silk and 75% super kid mohair a beautiful, soft and shiny yarn with a light and fluffy structure. We use it primarily together with other yarns, but it is also beautiful used individually perhaps especially in a simple design. A structured pattern will not show in this yarn, unless the Silk Mohair is knitted together with another smoother yarn. As Silk Mohair is soft and fluffy, some shedding must be expected both while knitting and from the finished project. The shedding will deteriorate in time but please consider with which garments Silk Mohair is worn.
