Shipping anywhere within the continuous United States is free with orders over $75 for standard ground USPS or UPS rates. For orders outside that range, we will charge our cost to ship based on the best available rates. Expedited shipping will be at cost.

Returns will be shipped back to Kani Kettu at customer's expense.

Kani Kettu | Nordic Yarn Return Policy

At Kani Kettu | Nordic Yarn, we want you to be completely satisfied with your yarn purchases. We understand that sometimes a project may not turn out as planned, or you may have purchased more yarn than you need. To ensure a positive shopping experience, we offer a generous return policy for unused yarn.

Returns and Exchanges:

  1. Unused Yarn: If you have purchased yarn or fiber that is still in its original condition, you may return it within 45 days of the original purchase for a refund or exchange. The item must be in its original packaging, with all labels and tags intact.
  2. Partial Skein Returns: We understand that estimating the exact amount of yarn needed for a project can be challenging. If you've used less than 25% of a skein, you may still be eligible for a return. Please return the remaining yarn in its original condition, and we'll assess the return on a case-by-case basis.

Return Process:

  1. To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at sales@kanikettu.com within 45 days of your purchase date. Provide your order number and a brief description of the reason for the return.
  2. If your return is approved, we will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN). Please include this RAN on the return package.
  3. Returns and exchanges should be shipped back to Kani Kettu | Nordic Yarn at the customer's expense. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method to ensure the safe arrival of your return.

Refunds and Exchanges:

  1. Once we receive your return and inspect the item, we will process your refund or exchange. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
  2. If you opt for an exchange, we will ship the new item to you, and you will be responsible for the shipping costs.

Exclusions:

  1. We cannot accept returns on yarn or fiber that has been used or damaged.
  2. Clearance, sale, and custom items are final sale and not eligible for returns.
  3. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

We are constantly updating the brands, yarn types, and colors we carry. If you have a yarn or specific color that you must have, let us know by emailing us at sales@KaniKettu.com. In some cases we are able to order the color immediately while in other cases we may need to wait a few, but we will always prioritize the needs of our customers when making sourcing decisions.
